Launched in January 2015, The Meralco Power Lab is a two-level multi-purpose facility that aims to educate consumers on efficient use of electricity and provide power-related information. The PowerLab is composed of a Demo Area that shows the real-time energy consumption and cost to run certain appliances, an Equipment Testing Lab that verifies energy consumption and cost to operate of different appliances, equipment and other gadgets under set test methodologies, and an Intelligent Living Space (ILS) which is a venue for demonstrating the technologies of the future home.
