The idea of weaving was primarily used for this renovation project as a strategty to organize the owner’s abundant yet disconnected collections of trinkets, objects, books, and artwork. This idea manifests itself architecturally in the form of wooden strips that not only visually tie everything together, but also poses a question of surfaces, where one plane would start and where another plane would end.
