TMP condo is located in one of the higher floors of a premium high-rise development in the Metro. Upon entry to the two-level space, the visitor’s view is blocked by a massive structural pylon. To alleviate this dilemma, two curved fins were used to connect the visitor’s initial entry point to both corners of the unit, leading one’s eyes from the pylon to the corner windows of the space where panoramic views of the urban skyline and the adjacent river can be appreciated. These two curves were replicated to form a diamond-like grid in the ceiling achieving a dynamic space that suggests movement but at the same time attaining a sense of warmth from the natural material palette, comfortable furnishings, and the lighting integrated in the grid.
