A space that imposes its presence onto the visitor was envisioned for this space to enhance the restaurant’s dining experience. It also had to be consistent to the product that the restaurant offers – Ramen. A series of plywood strips were thus utilized to achieve this, forming a dynamic ceiling that simulates the behavior of the movement of ramen – unpredictable and free flowing.
