The conceptual form of the condotel structures of the project is taken from seashells, an important contributor to the process of white sand formation which Boracay island is world-famous for. Elliptical shapes were used as “floor plates” of the buildings and were offset from each other from floor to floor. Inserted between these plates are diamond-shaped floor plans fully glazed with clear glass that make the elliptical floor plates seem to hover from each other. The glass also provides uninterrupted views of the white sand beachfront, the ocean, the sunset, and the grand view corridor that dominates the central part of the property. Each diamond shaped floor plan also offsets from the main structural grid from floor to floor, resulting in unit layouts that are non-identical.
