This residence contained 2 programs in one shell – 2 houses in 1, which required the spaces to be pushed to the brim of the allowable building lines to maximize the abuntant requirement of space. The result is a massive 3-storey volume, whose scale was broken down thru frames that shift along multiple axes in orthogonal and diagonal movements, creating a dynamic composition. The heart of the volume is punctured with a skylit atrium, that allows abundant natural light and ventilation to penetrate the otherwise deep spaces within.
